Annika uses a pool cue

After reading the task brief, Annika asks Mark if she’s allowed to use Google to help her figure out the required distances. Mark replies that she can, if she can access it.

Annika runs back into the house in search of her phone and, when she returns, she is also carrying a pool cue.

Having reasoned that a quick measuring device will be needed, Annika tells Mark to measure the length of the pool cue, while she Googles the length of a female blue whale.

Annika soon becomes annoyed with her chosen measuring tool, however, when she needs to awkwardly manoeuvre it around in the wooded area behind the house.

Annika places her parasol next to the gazebo, though the tone of her voice as she does so seems to indicate that it isn’t because she actually believes it to be the solution to the directions. However, she says that she thinks it’s probably close enough, and that there’s probably someone who has done worse. In the studio, Lasse dubs this the “Annika Aakjær strategy”, but warns her that while it had helped to secure the win on her season, that Anders Breinholt (generally a low-effort contestant on her season) isn’t present this time around.

Annika’s exact distance is not given (though it’s somewhere between 13 and 23 metres away), but she earns third place.
