Jonas messes up

After reading the task’s time limit, Jonas comments that it feels more like a 20-minute task.

He pulls out his phone and starts frantically Googling the answers to the instructions.

Jonas’s attempt is shown in a montage with Annika’s and Christian’s, and of these three, he is the only contestant not to attempt to create an accurate measuring device, instead choosing to estimate the length of his long strides as one metre. Jonas is also the contestant of these three who seems least sure about which direction he is facing at any given point.

Ultimately, he places his parasol in the woods, between the shed and the gazebo.

In the studio, Jonas admits that at one point during the task, he had panicked and assumed that “the height of seven Bubbers” meant that he had to move the parasol up vertically.

Jonas ends up 23 metres away from the correct spot, and earns fourth place.
