Charlotta debates moving the finish line
Charlotta searches the shed and emerges with a large roll of electrical tape, and wonders out loud if it will work, since it already looks like a wheel.
She looks over the course, and jokingly asks if she can move the finish line. David confirms that she could, which shocks all of her fellow competitors in the studio.
Charlotta then returns to the shed to find more wheel-shaped items. After trying a bundle of rope, she settles on a roll of duct tape.
Charlotta does not attempt to build up her wheel to level out the scooter. Instead, she reasons that if she leans heavily to one side, it will keep the scooter balanced.
She either forgets that she is allowed to move the finish line, or decides not to. Instead, Charlotta drives through the course relatively quickly and easily, with an astonished David providing commentary from the sidelines (including his amazement that she had not moved the finish line).
In the studio, when Babben asks why Charlotta didn’t move the finish line after discovering that it would have been allowed, Charlotta simply shrugs, and reasons that driving the scooter was fun.
Charlotta completes the task in 5 minutes and 30 seconds, and earns first place.
