Johan ‘seasons’ the popcorn

Johan reasons that the best way to keep David from eating the popcorn is to make it gross.

He shovels some of the dirt and gravel from the driveway into a bucket, and returns to the study with it, where he carefully shakes the dirt all over the top of the popcorn, referring to it as “seasoning”.

Johan also admits that he’s contemplating peeing into the popcorn. The camera then cuts to a shot of the house’s balcony, while Johan loudly announces that he needs to urinate, and that exact moment seems like a perfect time to do so.

When David enters the room and looks over at the popcorn bucket, Johan proudly states that he had recently “relieved some pressure”, confirming that he has urinated on the popcorn, just in case David decides to dig past the dirt and gravel.

David decides to call Johan on his bluff (though it is in fact never confirmed whether Johan had actually urinated on the popcorn or not), and so he pours the popcorn out onto the desk, picking out a single piece from somewhere in the middle of the pile, and eating it.

Johan protects the popcorn for 1 minute and 23 seconds, and earns third place.
