Charlotta works smarter, not harder

Charlotta opens the closest can to her, noting that she has difficulty using manual can openers. She doesn’t even spill the contents of the first can on the floor, after noticing that it contains tomatoes.

As she starts to open a second can, Charlotta starts looking around the lab, wondering if there is a smarter way to complete the task. She starts to look at the cans, and notices that the majority of them have the same expiration date in 2025, but that one can has an expiry date in 2024. She opens this can and spills its contents, only to discover that she has opened a can of chickpeas.

Charlotta continues her expiration date search, and soon comes another can with a 2024 expiry date. She opens and spills its contents and, this time, successfully spills the beans.

Charlotta completes the task in 3 minutes and 11 seconds, and earns second place.
