Calle’s gravy boat
Calle says that, like Kristoffer, he has received a gift from someone who does not understand Calle’s size. However, instead of clothes, Calle is instead referring to a gravy boat – specifically, a very small gravy boat, about the size of a teacup.
Calle explains that it’s meant to be a one-man gravy boat, and that the person who had purchased it had only seen a picture, but had likely assumed that gravy boats only come in one size.
Calle does not understand the purpose of a single-serving gravy boat. Atle agrees, finding something “sad and nice” in the idea of someone eating dinner alone still taking the time to prepare a gravy boat, rather than just putting the gravy directly onto their food.
Atle awards Calle first place.
