Calle creates a photo frame

Calle makes the decision to use the original Polaroid photo to recreate the majority of his new photo, by cutting out the parts featuring himself and the tree, and then instructing Olli to hold up the remainder of the photo as a frame, when he takes the new picture.

Calle then uses a rope to drag the tree into the caravan, before pushing it upright with a rake.

Calle then poses with the tree, inside the caravan, while Olli takes a new photo through the hole cut into the original one.

After Olli has taken the new photo, Calle states that he’s going to “touch the Christmas tree a lot”, and proceeds to do so, paying particular attention to the tinsel.

In the studio, Atle says that Calle’s picture “looks like something from a Danish crime drama”, but he admires Calle’s solution, to the point where he is annoyed that the task wording does not allow any scoring based on creativity or artistry. As Calle’s final recreation isn’t as accurate as several other contestants’, Atle reluctantly awards Calle fourth place.
