Annika uses blood

When Annika greets Jonas, she asks him what he does, and he jokingly replies that he runs a company with the Danish journalist Martin Krasnik, referencing a line of questioning Annika had pursued when she’d previously met Jonas, during season 4’s ‘Get to know a person who alternately tells the truth, lies, and brags’ task.

When Annika asks Jonas what makes him blush, he replies very scientifically, stating that anything that makes blood flow to his head will make him blush. Annika decides that Jonas must therefore do a handstand.

Impressively, Jonas maintains a handstand for an extended period of time, without using a wall for assistance. In fact, he manages to perform a handstand for long enough that a vein in his eyelid bursts.

In the studio, Lasse comments that Annika had treated Jonas like an “almost empty ketchup bottle”. Annika jokes that he’d actually done the handstand after eating several chili peppers.

Annika earns third place.
