Mona, Phil, and Tammy’s friendship is tested
The team start out well, working together to slowly rotate in a circle to keep the bells off of the ground. However, Tammy accidentally takes a step while holding the bag during the rotation, and Antoine forces them to start over (prompting Mona to compare him to a particularly stern lifeguard).
On their second attempt, when Phil tosses the bag to Mona, the bag tears (or, as Mona puts it, her “sausage fingers pierced the bag”). The team continue to throw the bag amongst each other while slowly moving towards the table.
Eventually, Mona gets a face full of powder after catching the bag. Sensing something is wrong, she licks her finger and tastes the contents of the bag, voicing her belief that it is a combination of salt and sugar.
The team continue throwing the bag between themselves, eventually placing it on the table. However, when they come together for a group hug, Antoine blows his whistle, telling them that their rope has touched the ground, and that they need to start over.
After a moment of confusion, Phil realises that the bag is actually filled with sugar, which would explain why his hand were feeling sticky.
The team walk back towards the table, and then notice the bag of salt on the ground. All three are annoyed, but especially Mona, who had noticed earlier that the original bag’s contents had tasted of sugar.
The team alter their strategy for their next trip: they wrap the rope around themselves to shorten it, so they can walk more quickly towards the table, and bend over to pick up the salt without risking the rope touching the ground. They then unwind the rope again as they start their approach towards the target table, so they can toss the bag further.
Despite knowing that they can successfully accomplish the task, the frustrated team unravels into petty arguing the entire time, yelling at each other about how far each person can and cannot move.
Even though their attempt is filled with swearing and arguing, they manage to get the bag of salt to the table without further incident. Phil suggests that they even empty the contents of the bag onto the table, just in case the task is particularly pedantic (i.e. “the bag was on the table, not the salt”).
After Antoine finally blows the whistle and stops the timer, Phil suggests the team take a selfie together, next to the table.
The team’s time is not given, but they win the task by default.
