Steve creates a portrait of Joanne

To begin his portrait, Steve repurposes the mannequin head as Joanne’s. He then places the life vest below the head, and tucks the hourglass into it to resemble her “hourglass figure”. He then decides to use the skull to help prop up the mannequin head, adding that “behind every head, there is a skull”.

To represent Joanne’s blonde hair, Steve uses banana peel, which he is able to stick to the mannequin head using the “banana slime”. Alex observes that this is “just like her actual hair”.

In the studio, Steve’s final portrait is revealed, and Joanne tells him that she adores it. Steve points out that she’s blow-drying her hair. Greg loves the detail but wonders what’s going on with her top lip. Steve explains that it’s meant to resemble a duck lip pose, and then executes one while repeating Joanne’s catchphrase of “Suck it off!” from her attempt at the thumb war task, earlier in the episode.

When Alex brings up the use of the skull beneath the mannequin’s head, Steve claims that it is a “memento mori” – a reminder that we all die. When Greg says that he’s not reminded enough of his mortality, Steve replies “Well I fucking have been, tonight!”, in reference to the many comments about his age, during the episode.

Steve is awarded 4 points for his portrait, tying with Nick.
