Joonas takes to the balcony
Joonas realises that the pedal bin has a separate bucket inside of it, and removes it.
He then closes the bin and retrieves a few balls from the shed, starting to take shots at the bucket. However, Joonas admits that he is not a good thrower, and it still takes him several tries to land a shot, eventually managing to throw a pebble into the bin (Pilvi, unimpressed, yawns as he does so).
Joonas continues to think about the task, and wonders if there is an easy way to artificially increase his distance without making the throw more difficult.
He soon has the idea to drop something from the balcony of the house into the bin. Joonas misses the bin with the pebbles he brought up to the balcony, and searches around the nearby room for something to throw, settling on a roll of masking tape, which he successfully drops into the bin bucket just before his time runs out.
Joonas sums up his attempt as “a brilliant use of time, or maybe not... I’m guessing not”.
Joonas’ successful throw is measured at 6.87 metres, and he earns second place.
