Pirjo forgets an important rule

After figuring out that the bin opens by depressing the pedal near its base, Pirjo wanders off in search of items to help her accomplish the task.

She soon returns with a wheelbarrow filled with long tools, including various poles and a garden rake.

Pirjo is not shown testing out most of her supplies though, at one point, she lays down a wooden plank on the pedal and, when it opens the bin, she quickly turns and tosses a ball into it, in an attempt to finish the task.

Pirjo then asks Pilvi if she is able to open the bin for her. Pilvi, noticing the brick in Pirjo’s hand, replies that Pirjo will likely be fine without her help.

Pilvi eventually agrees to help, though, and Pirjo stands in the grass a few steps away from the wooden stage area, tossing balls from a large plastic tub towards the bin.

After several misses, Pirjo instructs Pilvi to keep the bin lid open, so her shot has a better chance of landing (seemingly forgetting that the bin lid being closed was one of the main rules of the task).

After several more misses, Pirjo eventually manages to bounce a ping pong ball into the bin.

Before her time runs out, Pirjo moves a few steps back and successfully throws a football into the still-open bin.

Pirjo’s successful throw is measured at 6.38 metres. However, as she did not follow the rules, Jaakko awards her last place.
