Episode synopsis

In this episode the contestants must bring in the most exciting thing beginning with 'G', throw something into a bin behind a fence, resist the urge to blink, build an extension to the Taskmaster house, make the best Christmas cracker, and beat on a drum after exactly 9.58 seconds.

Title context

'The perfect stuff' was how James Acaster described the contents of the garage which Rhod had shut, during the 'Build an extension to the Taskmaster house' task.

    Taskmaster Intro

Hello and welcome to another chapter in the tale of Taskmaster. I am your narrator, Greg Davies. Now, this head needs a new owner, and these are the only five people on the planet capable of claiming it.

    Assistant Intro

And, splatted all over the chair next to me, is the rancorous pustule of a human being that happens to be very good at Microsoft Excel... It's little Alex Horne!

    Taskmaster's Sign-off

So what have we learnt today? We've learnt that whatever has happened at work - you might've had an argument with your boss, you might've fallen off a stage - at least none of you have felt anywhere near as angry as this [image shown of James Acaster's pissed-off face]. And Rhod Gilbert won, of course. Sensational skills, a triumph of humanity. Episode eight next. Have a nice little rest and we'll see you there. Bye!
