Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in something that makes them proud, create the best domino run, persuade three chickens to stand on a mat, identify some mystery baby food flavours, and slide some drinks to the Taskmaster.

Episode notes

  • Even though this is the fourth episode to air in this season, some comments made in-studio appear to suggest that it was actually the first one to be filmed. It is known that this show does not air its episodes in the same order that they are filmed.

Title context

Phil Roy utters the phrase “OK Boomer” after Louis mocks him for being afraid of chickens, during the ‘Persuade three chickens to stand on the mat’ task. This slang term is commonly used by younger people as a retort against older generations’ resistance to societal change.

Taskmaster Intro

Good evening, and welcome to Taskmaster. My name is Louis Morissette, and I am the Taskmaster. Over the past few weeks, I have devised a series of tasks for five beloved comedians to complete. Together, we'll discover what they did, and how they did it. As the Taskmaster, I'll hand out points to the most deserving contestants based on highly subjective and ambiguous criteria. The winner of the season will take home the greatest prize in television history: a replica of my head in gold!

Assistant Intro

Without him, I am nothing. I am less than nothing. Antoine Vezina!

Episode scores

Points notes

  • The season scoreboard shown at the end of this episode displays very different totals for the contestants than it should do, based on the official episode scoreboards for the first four episodes. However, all of the contestants’ relative placements on the scoreboard are correct. It shows: Tammy in last place with 48 points (which should be 45 points); Phil in fourth place with 50 points (which should be 47 points); Marie-Lyne in third place with 52 points (which should be 54 points), Kevin in second place with 56 points (this is accurate, based on the episode scoreboards, though there was a 1 point discrepancy for his score in one episode); and Mona in first place with 68 points (which should be 65 points).
