Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the most narcissistic thing they own, move sand from one bucket to another, keep Antoine dry, make a coconut-flinging machine, travel the furthest while making a continuous noise, and play a game of ‘Slap and Tong’.

Title context

Kevin Raphaël uses the phrase “the other gravity” while explaining his plan to Antoine Vézina during the ‘Make a coconut-flinging machine’ task. The “other gravity” he is referring to appears to be the force that will be imparted to the coconut when he drops a sandbag onto the other end of a snow shovel.

Taskmaster Intro

Good evening. Welcome to Taskmaster. My name is Louis Morissette, and I am the Taskmaster. Over the past few weeks, I have devised a series of tasks for five beloved comedians to complete. Together, we'll discover what they did, and how they did it. As the Taskmaster, I'll hand out points to the most deserving contestants based on highly subjective and ambiguous criteria. The winner of the season will take home the greatest prize in television history: a replica of my head in gold!

Assistant Intro

And here is my assistant. I think it’s his best role since Jean-Bobin. Antoine Vézina!

Note: Antoine played the role of Jean-Bobin Dieu (the protagonist’s older brother) in the 2021 Canadian musical comedy-drama film Aline, a fictionalised portrayal of the life of the Canadian singer-songwriter Céline Dion.
