Task brief

The task brief is laid on the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:

Divert the sand from Bucket A to Bucket B.

You may not touch the sand

You may not move the buckets.

You may not leave the room.

Most sand diverted into Bucket B wins.

Your time stops when the sand stops.

Task notes

Bucket A is hanging from the ceiling of the lab, and is full of sand, but has a small hole in the bottom, which is temporarily plugged with a piece of tape.
As soon as the contestants enter the lab, Antoine shuffles them over to stand beneath bucket A, where he secures one of their wrists into a zip-tie, attached to the tape covering the hole.
The table in the lab is positioned along the right-hand wall (from the point of view of the camera), just out of easy reach for the contestants.
Also on the table, there are two mangos, two spoons, three egg-cups, two flip-flops, a colander, a roll of toilet paper, a broom, a long pole, and a paddle.
On the floor near the table, there is an empty bucket labelled ‘B’.
