Divert the sand from one bucket to another
- In this task the contestants are instructed to get as much sand as possible from one bucket (hanging from the ceiling) to another (a short distance away on the floor) using only the items supplied in the room, before the sand stops flowing from the first bucket. Their hand is tethered to a blockage in a hole of the first bucket in such a way that the sand typically starts to flow before they have even read the task brief, which they have to stretch to reach.

In this version of the task, the contestants are given a strict time limit, rather than the length of time it takes for the sand to leave the initial bucket. Also, a few of the items provided are different.
