The second longest T-word
- In this live studio task the contestants have to write down a word beginning with 'T'. The person who writes down the second-longest word wins the round.
- In some versions, multiple rounds are used, with the winner of each getting to take a step down a short set of steps, and the person who writes the longest word having to skip a turn.
- In these multi-round versions, there is usually also a list of secret bonus words which, if matched, allow the contestants to take a step down.
- The winner in the multi-round versions is the first person to reach the bottom of the steps.

Adaptations
In this version of the task everything was decided in just one round, with the contestants remaining in their seats rather than making their way down a short set of steps. This being the case, there was no list of bonus words.
