Eat the small food item
- In this task, the contestants are locked into an escape room (usually the caravan), and have to find a way to escape and/or eat a small item of food (usually a grape, but it has also been an almond).

In this version of the task, the puzzles that need to be solved to escape the caravan are different, and there is also at least one grape hidden within the caravan itself.
This version of the task is an almost exact recreation of the original Taskmaster NZ task, except that the grape has been replaced with an almond in a bowl of rice porridge.
In this version of the task, the contestants are locked into a small outbuilding, rather than a caravan. The clues are mostly the same as in the original version of the task, with some variations in presentation. Also, one of the contestant has been instructed to narrate everything that they do in the third person.
