Task notes

• The plinth upon which the grape is presented is positioned in the path of the contestants as they make their way to Mark’s house, which allows most of them to identify its location before the task begins.
• After the contestants enter Mark’s house to retrieve the task brief, Mark locks them inside with a padlock on the door.
• On the back wall of the interior of the building, there is a small blue cabinet with a picture of a key on it, which is locked with a three-digit combination lock. Written on the lock is the phrase ‘Sog Mod Gud’ (‘Seek Out God’), with each word corresponding to one of the dials on the lock.
• On a bookshelf in the room, there is a fake Bible, inside of which there is a picture of Lasse as a baby, with his birthday (26 March 1972) written on it. The page underneath the picture has verse 26 of one of the books of the Bible, giving a further hint to the combination. This code to open the combination lock is 263.
• Inside the cabinet, there are five keys, and the word ‘Koldt’ (‘Cold’). The keys are just fun easter eggs, as they are each clearly labelled to indicate that they were for the houses used by the show in previous seasons, indicating that each time Stormester has switched to a different house, Mark has kept a copy of the key. The word ‘Cold’ is a clue directing the contestants to look in the refrigerator.
• Inside the mini-fridge, there is a box with a small task brief taped to the back of it, which instructs the contestants to ask Mark for a hint. When asked, Mark says “Colder” to the contestants, to direct them to look in the freezer section of the fridge, inside of which there is a block of ice with a screwdriver frozen inside of it.
• On top of the mini-fridge, there is a kettle full of hot water which the contestants may use to melt the ice.
• Once the box from the fridge is unscrewed and opened, the contestants find a phone inside, which may be used to call Mark’s Key Service.
• Mark will sell the door key to the contestants for 10 kroner – cash only. The majority of this cash can be found in a piggy bank, with the remaining 50 øre coin hidden underneath a chair cushion.
