Spin around and then get a ball into a goal

  • In this task, the contestants must spin around as many times as possible before getting a ball into a specific goal.
  • The spinning might be conducted while standing or on a rotating office chair, and the goal may be kicking a football into a caravan doorway, or at a caravan in its entirety, or throwing a basketball into a basketball hoop.
  • The task was originally used as a tie-breaker in season 6 of Taskmaster UK, but has since been adapted as a regular pre-filmed task on a couple of occasions, with one version switching out various details but essentially remaining the same.

Original version

This version of the task was used as a tie-breaker, and involved kicking a football into the caravan through its doorway. Contestants were disqualified if they missed.

Adaptations

This version of the task was a regular pre-filmed task, rather than a tie-breaker. To succeed at the task, the contestants merely needed to hit the caravan with a kicked football. A bonus point was available if the contestants manage to kick the ball through the caravan's door.
In this version of the task, the contestants spin themselves on an office chair, and must then throw a basketball into a basketball hoop. It is otherwise essentially the same task, though.
