Deliver an impromptu lecture
- In this task, the contestants are instructed to deliver an impromptu lecture or presentation on a topic which is somehow randomly assigned.
Original version
In this version of the task, the subject of the lecture is a year in history between 1000 and 1999 AD, unknowingly selected by the contestants.

In this version of the task, the contestants blindly draw the title of their lecture from a box, and are scored on how convincing their presentation is, and not necessarily on factual accuracy. There is also a person present in the room, to whom they must deliver their lecture.
