- In this task the contestants are instructed to find out the most interesting thing they have in common with a stranger.

In this version of the task, the stranger is hidden out of sight in an adjoining room, as it is someone whom the contestants might recognise.
In this version of the task, the contestants must maintain eye contact with their blind date while they are speaking, and must shake hands with them beneath the table, each time they discover something they have in common. There is a bonus point available for the person who discovers the most things in common with their date.
