Air dates and trailers released for Kongen Befaler S07 and Taskmaster AU S01

It turns out that the 2023 season of the international Taskmaster franchise will be kicking off a lot earlier than anticipated, with air dates having been announced this week for both the seventh season of Norway's Kongen Befaler, and the debut season of Australia's Taskmaster AU.

Along with the air dates, trailers for both these seasons have been released, giving us a taste of what's the come. You can check out both of these trailers below.

Kongen Befaler season 7

Kongen Befaler will begin airing much earlier this year than it has in previous years, with the first episode scheduled to go out on Discovery+ Norge on 26 January 2023.

The eagle-eyed among you might have spotted that this date is smack-bang in the middle of the scheduled dates for the season's studio filming sessions (21st to 30th January), meaning that the post-production on the first episode has to be turned around in just five days! No pressure, guys.

Taskmaster AU season 1

The first season of Taskmaster AU will begin airing one week later, on 2 February 2023, on Channel 10 and 10 Play on demand.
