Season 7 news for both Bäst i Test and Stormester

There's more exciting international Taskmaster news today, as an air date is announced for the seventh season of Bäst i Test, and very heavy hints are dropped about a seventh season for Stormester.

First off, both Babben Larsson and David Sundin posted images to their Instagram stories, announcing that the next season of the Swedish show would begin airing on 24 February 2023. We already knew about this season, of course (see the previous news post about expectations for the franchise in 2023), and were just waiting for this air date.

What we didn't already know was whether or not there would be a seventh full season of Denmark's Stormester this year, in addition to the confirmed 'Champion of Champions' and 'Another Chance' special mini-seasons.

However, images were posted to both the official Stormester account, and to Mark Le Fêvre's account on Instagram today, basically confirming that a seventh full season of the show had begun production, and encouraging fans to share who they're hoping to see appear as contestants this time around.

We don't yet have confirmed air dates for either of the aforementioned Stormester specials, but I suspect they might air back-to-back in the first half of the year, in place of what would otherwise be a full eight-episode season, and then be followed much later in the year by this new seventh season, in the immediate run-up to Christmas.
