The Lab (Stormester Season 1)
The lab is a small empty room, within which a wooden frame has been constructed, and clear plastic sheeting has been attached to the frame, and backlit with fluorescent tubes.
Typically, the main feature of the lab is a table at its centre, upon which the contestants will usually find the task brief and any necessary props for the task.
The space is often used for tasks which may become messy, with the plastic sheeting protecting the actual walls of the room from whatever takes place.
First appearance
The lab is first seen in the 'Get an egg as high as possible' task, in the second episode of season 1.

Tasks are tagged as having been filmed in this space if either it was the location in which a task brief was received, or the task otherwise specifically utilised the space. The fact that a contestant chose to use the space during their attempt is not counted, unless the space was already established as a key location for the task.
