• While checking the egg, Nikolaj breaks it open on the table, spilling egg white on its surface. He ultimately decides he cannot eat the egg, as he assumes that includes eating the shell. He therefore scores zero points.
• Ruben decides that he's going to boil his egg, and then also makes a second one for Mark. They also both have a cup of coffee with their relaxing breakfast, which takes 25 minutes and 26 seconds, scoring Ruben third place.
• Lina decides to fry her egg, but doesn't take such a leisurely approach to her breakfast, eating the egg while it's still very hot. It takes her 6 minutes and 15 seconds altogether, securing her second place in the task.
• Christian quickly identifies that there is nothing in the task brief stating when the time starts. He sends Mark out of the lab to write 'Time starts now.' on a piece of paper and, while he is out of the room, makes a small hole in the eggshell and drinks the contents raw. Upon Mark's return to the lab with the 'official' starting instructions, he pretends to very quickly suck the contents of the egg out of its shell. Lasse accepts his resulting time of 5.7 seconds, securing Christian first place in the task.
• Julie initially asks Mark to get her a spoon. When she realises the egg is raw, she tries to feed it to him, which he only just resists doing. She scores zero points for not having eaten any of the egg herself.
