Task brief
The task brief is received in the kitchen of the Taskmaster house, where a large quantity of baking supplies and equipment are provided. The brief for the task is as follows:
Bake a bun.
Biggest bun wins.
The bun may only consist of bun dough.
Bonus points for the best bun.
You have one hundred minutes.
Task notes
- After baking, the buns are frozen until the day of the studio record, when they are revealed on stage.
- David reveals that the volume of the buns was measured using Archimedes’ principle (lowering them into water and measuring how much is displaced).
- To award bonus points for the best bun, the cookbook author Johanna Westman is brought in as a guest judge.
