The task brief is received in a large sandpit in a field (possibly a practice area for horse dressage?), where a straight course with low hurdles is set up, with a finish line at the end. The brief for the task is as follows:
Write a 10 word short story, no more no less, before you reach the finish line.
You have to write while you run.
The fastest contestant with a coherent short story wins.
There is a bonus point available for the best short story.
Your time begins on David’s signal.
