The initial task brief is presented in a safe on a plinth in the middle of a field. The second task brief is sent to them via a text message, a few weeks later. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

Johanna is the first to join the video call, but she doesn’t turn her camera on until after Sofia joins. Sofia wears a fake beard and a red beanie with a crumpled ball of toilet paper on top, over a white beanie. When Johanna turns her camera on, she’s wearing a white jumper and a red scarf covering most of her face, using a tissue as a makeshift beard. Johanna and Sofia both crack up over the fact that their accents aren’t very fitting for Santa, telling David that Santa’s workshop has had to be relocated since last Christmas. Anis then joins the call, wearing a red one-piece outfit and replacing his background with a photo of a Christmas tree. Sofia immediately quips that he looks just like “that Anis guy, from Melodifestivalen”. Marcus joins the call some time later, putting on a fake northern accent, wearing a red beanie, and with a large tissue serving as a beard. Sofia wonders where he’s been, and Marcus says he was having lunch, before correcting himself and talking in-character as Santa. Anis tells the rest that they’re only mall Santas, everyone in the call starts talking over each other, and then David leaves. Sussie never joins the call. In the studio, Anis maintains character and pretends he was never in the call. Johanna gets 5 points, Sofia gets 4 points and a bonus point for the best costume. The rest of the points are not announced.
