The brief for the task is as follows:
Come up with, and name, a new animal species, according to the features described by the Taskmaster.
Draw your made-up animal on the board using you non-dominant hand.
You have 60 seconds.
There are five points for the best drawing.
Task notes
- Jaakko describes the animal thus: "The animal has three legs, a perplexing case of body hair, and it can only procreate in Tampere."
- Tampere is the second largest city in Finland.
- After the contestants draw their animals, they have to pass it to the person on their left, and that person has 30 seconds to name and describe the species to the Taskmaster.
- Although the task brief seems to indicate only five points are available for the best drawing, those are actually bonus points, on top of the points awarded for their creative explanations.
