Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • After a short while, Anders takes his toilet roll to the floor of the stage, for more drawing room. He detaches the part of the toilet paper he has drawn on from its roll. At about three stage tiles in length, his snake is the longest, so he earns no points.
  • Annika draws her snake up at her table, and it appears that she maybe extracts the felt ink reservoirs from the markers to draw thicker lines. The result is that her drawing is a real mess of splotches of ink, and doesn't actually look anything like a snake. However, Lasse accepts it as a snake and, with a length of almost 2.5 stage tiles, it is the second longest, so she wins the task.
  • Jakob draws up at his table, and appears to just use a single marker pen at a time. However, he draws two snakes parallel to one another on the roll, one slightly shorter than the other, with the longest being about 1.5 stage tiles in length. He tries to claim that this makes the shorter of the two snakes the second longest. However, since both of his snakes are pretty much tied as the shortest on the floor, he earns no points.
  • Mahamad draws his snake up on his table, but uses the approach of holding two pens in one hand, so he can draw two continuous parallel lines along the toilet paper. He detaches the part of the toilet paper he has drawn on from its roll. At under two stage tiles in length, his snake is the fourth longest, so he earns no points.
  • Neel draws up at her table, using a single marker pen at a time to draw a snake using colourful dots. At just over two stage tiles in length, her snake is the third longest, so he earns no points. However, Lasse awards her two bonus points for having drawn the finest snake.
