Task brief

You will take it in turns to say words in a given category, beginning with each letter of the alphabet, in alphabetical order.

If we reach the end of the alphabet, we’ll start over at ‘A’.

After you have said a word, you must name one of the other participants, and then press the button.

If you fail to say a qualifying word, hesitate for too long, or perform the actions in the wrong order, you will be eliminated.

The last remaining contestant wins.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage.
In front of them, in the centre of the stage, there is a plinth with a red button on top of it.
The Norwegian alphabet contains 29 characters, with the letters ‘Æ’, ‘Ø’, ‘Å’ appearing after ‘Z’.
