Olli hands the task brief to the contestants in the study, immediately outside the door to the lounge. The brief for the task is as follows:

Make the shelves on the left identical to the shelves on the right.

Most identical shelves wins.

You have 10 minutes.

Your time starts now.

Before the contestants receive the task brief, Olli asks them to choose one of three handicaps for the task: wearing a blindfold; not using their arms; or not entering the lounge.
The lounge door is closed, so the contestants cannot even hazard a guess as to what the task might involve.
Once they’ve chosen their handicap, the door to the lunge is opened, revealing two tall bookcases positioned in front of the window, on the far side of the room.
The bookcase on the right has a variety of items on its shelves, including a fishbowl full of water, a house plant, some books, a vase of flowers, some stemmed drinking and dessert glasses, a framed photo of Atle, a glass carafe, a trophy, some candlesticks, a cactus, a small chess set, a Rubik’s cube, a small red briefcase, and a globe.
The bookcase on the left is completely empty.
A set of identical items are provided for the contestants to use, on a table in the study.
