Task briefs

The main task brief is laid on the workbench outside the shed. The mini task briefs to be completed based on spins of the Wheel of Babben are written on a board to the left of the workbench. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Spin the wheel of Babben and perform a test.

Started spins apply.

If you fail a test, you’re out.

You can choose not to spin whenever you want.

Most completed tests wins.

You have 10 minutes.

Your time starts now.

1. Say an existing word that starts and ends with the same letter.

2. Eat a banana.

3. Jackpot: David’s gift box.

4. Solve a riddle.

5. Run a lap around the house.

6. Throw all the rubber ducks off of the balcony.

7. Sing a new Babben song at over 70 decibels.

8. Put all the rubber ducks in the basket on the balcony.

Task notes

  • David has transformed the outside of the shed into a mini gameshow set, with the Wheel of Babben on one side of the workbench, a cooler filled with rubber ducks behind him, and a board describing the tasks that must be completed based on the results of spinning the Wheel of Babben on the other side of the workbench.
  • The workbench also has a bunch of bananas and a suitcase on it. Inside the suitcase, there are various relaxation (and time-wasting) offers for the contestants, though what is offered from the case at any point appears to be entirely up to David.
  • When the contestants are eating bananas, David rules that as long as the entire banana is in their mouth, and the mouth is closed, the test has been completed, allowing the contestant to finish chewing and swallowing while they spin the wheel again.
