Task brief
The task brief is in David’s possession on the driveway. The brief for the task is as follows:
Get the hourglass to run for as long as possible.
David will turn the hourglass every time you throw an inanimate object that starts with your favourite letter over 10 metres.
You may not throw the same type of object twice.
Whoever’s hourglass runs the longest wins.
The task ends when there is no longer sand running in the hourglass.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Also on the driveway, there is a small plinth with an hourglass on it, and a giant ruler measuring out the distance of 10 metres on the ground.
- Before each contestant reads the task brief, David asks them what their favourite letter of the alphabet is.
