The task brief is held by David in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:
Extinguish the candles.
Fastest wins.
You have two minutes.
Your time starts when the first candle goes out.
Task notes
- The floor of the lab is littered with 20 lit candles, in candle holders of varying styles.
- The contestants enter the lab wearing a snorkel and diving goggles. If they ask David at any point whether they are required to keep wearing these items throughout the task, he lets them know that this is not the case.
