Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Extinguish your candle with the help of the objects on the table.
Your objects must not touch your candle.
You must not leave or move your marker.
If your candle falls, then you are out of the task.
The one whose candle is extinguished first wins.
Your time starts on David’s signal.
Task notes
- This task takes place during the ‘Middle of the Show’ segment, as a game titled ‘Släck ditt ljus’ (‘Turn off your light’).
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side along the back of the stage, each standing on a marker spot next to a table.
- On each table, there are a variety of items, including a hand-held paper fan, some transparent tape, some duct tape, and some strips of wood in a metal tin.
- A couple of metres in front of each contestant, there is a lit candle on a plinth.
