Task brief

The task brief is presented on a small side table near the shed, on the driveway. The brief for the task is as follows:

Throw something so that you hit almost the centre of the target.

Whoever hits closest to the centre of the target wins.

If you hit the centre, you must reset and re-read the task.

You may not move the target, the wall, or the rug.

You must stand on the rug when you throw something towards the target.

You have 10 minutes.

Your time started when you opened the task.

Task notes

A circular target with three concentric rings had been set up on ground on the driveway. The outermost ring is green, the middle ring is yellow and has the words ‘NÄSTAN MITTEN’ (‘ALMOST THE MIDDLE’) written on it, and the innermost ring is red.
A temporary wall has been set up in front of the shed, and is decorated with several framed photographs.
In front of the wall, there are two chairs with a small side table between them. David is sat on one of the chairs.
Behind the wall, there is a small rug, from where the contestants must throw items of their choice at the target.
