The initial task brief is presented on a wooden crate on the astroturf platform. The follow-up task brief is presented to the contestants by Antoine. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Connect the most individual parts of one person to individual parts of another person.
Everyone in your team must be connected.

Task notes
- Inside the wooden crate are various items which can be used to attach things together: ropes, yarn, carabiners, bungee cords, rubber bands, binder clips, zip ties, clamps, etc.
- The finish line is marked by two barrels decorated with stars and stripes, either side of the astroturf path leading from the platform to the house.
