Task brief
The task brief is laid on a small red platform in the paved area. The brief for the task is as follows:
Build a tower, then topple your tower so that the yoghurt lands in a numbered square.
You must build your tower on the mat, and you may only use the items on the ground.
You have one yoghurt and one toppling attempt.
Highest score wins.
You have 20 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Task notes
- Several metres away from the platform, a grid of numbers between -1 and 10 has been drawn on the pavement in chalk.
- A small circular mat with red and black concentric rings is laid on the pavement in front of the platform. On top of this mat, there is a cup of (quite runny) yoghurt with a lid.
- The building supplies provided nearby include a hand-held electric drill, some oversized plastic nuts and bolts, some flat-packed cardboard boxes in a couple of sizes, a few flexible tent rods, cardboard tubes of various lengths and widths, and what appears to be a solidly-constructed cross-shaped base made of wood.
- A mobile set of steps is also provided, to help the contestants build higher.

Notes on task scores
- Richardson earns 4 points rather than 5 because Louis apparently decides to award points corresponding to the number in the grid square in which the contestants manage to land most of their yoghurt, rather than based on the normal ranking of performance between 1 and 5.
