Task brief

The task brief is laid on a table between the two comfy chairs, in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:

Guess who’s hiding behind the Santa mask.

Santa can only answer yes or no.

You may not touch Santa.

You must make a guess to David within eight minutes.

Whoever asks the least number of ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions wins.

Task notes

Seated in one of the chairs, there is a man wearing a Santa Claus outfit, including a mask.
Santa may only respond to the contestants’ questions with his paddles, which read ‘ja’ (‘yes’) and ‘nej’ (‘no’).
Although Santa only responds to ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions directed at him, all such questions are counted against the contestants, regardless of to whom they are posed.
Santa turns out to be the legendary journalist and news presenter Bengt Magnusson.
