Task brief
The task brief is laid on an empty chair in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:
Snort, fart, and whistle with your mouth, in that order.
Repeat the sequence as many times as possible in 100 seconds, while maintaining eye contact with David at the same time.
Most correct snort, fart, and whistle sequences wins.
Your time starts at your first snort.

Task notes
- David is sat in an identical chair directly opposite the empty chair.
- Although the task brief actually uses the word ‘grymta’, meaning ‘grunt’, the required action is actually a snort.
- The use of the word ‘prutta’, meaning ‘fart’, opens up that instruction to interpretation – the contestants may either blow a raspberry using their tongue, or just blow air past their lips, to create the required sound.
