The initial task brief is cradled between a set of golf clubs in a golf bag on the edge of the lawn at the back of the house. Tom Cashman hands the contestants the second task brief once they’ve completed the first part of the task. The briefs for the task are as follows:
Play golf.
Official golf rules apply.
Every time your ball is in motion. you must be talking aggressively to it.
You have 12 minutes.
Your time starts now.
Predict the other contestants’ scores.
You have a total of 32 shots to allocate.
Lowest score compared to average score predicted by your peers wins.

- Tom Cashman is stood next to the golf bag, wearing an old-fashioned golf caddy’s outfit.
- A circular red green has been set up with a golf hole at its centre, near to the edge of the wooded area, on the other side of the lawn.
- Two low piles of sand have been created next to the red green, acting as sand bunkers.
