The brief for the task is as follows:
Put on a pair of food-handling gloves, eat a whole banana correctly, put on a tie and clap as many times as possible.
All tasks must be completed in 100 seconds.
Most claps wins.
Task notes
- In the original task brief, the comma came before the word 'correctly', rather than afterwards.
- After Katherine complained that the requirement to 'correctly put on a tie' was sexist, Richard Osman resolved the situation by moving the comma, changing the emphasis of correctness to relate instead to the process of eating a banana.
