Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Down a pint of beer and then nod you head as many times as possible in one minute.

Task notes

  • Mike Wozniak and Tim Fizhigham were tied for first place after 12 tasks, so they were set this tie-breaker, in which they were to down a pint of beer and then nod their head as many times as possible in a minute.
  • Tim Fitzhigham doesn't drink beer, so he instead opted to drink a pint of red wine. He then only nodded for 20 seconds and his nod count (estimated at 60 by two observers, one of whom was Stuart Goldsmith) was multiplied by three, giving him a total of 180.
  • Mike Wozniak appears to have nodded 190 times during his minute, winning the contest.
