• In the episode of Taskmaster The People's Podcast released on 15 July 2022, Mark Olver shared that Alex had included this task because Mark's girlfriend had recently split up with him.
• According to Mark, Henning Wehn sent him a book titled How to Commit Suicide Ethically, while Tim Key deposited various tiny amounts of money into his bank account.
• According to an online article about Taskmaster by the comedy critic Bruce Dessau, Bruce found out Mark's favourite burger and gave it to him in Bath. "I did my research on this one and discovered in an old interview with him what his favourite brand of artisan burger was. I then bought the burger from a van on the South Bank in London and travelled straight to Bath where I presented it to Olver during a gig he was doing at Komedia. It still was not enough to top the table."
