Pamela builds a lottery-bingo-lottery machine
Pamela heads to the shed to search for things to build her machine, but then suddenly stops, wondering if she is correct in her assumption that a bingo machine is “that thing with the numbers”.
As she searches the shed, she finds a wooden lazy Susan, immediately declaring it “genius”, and deciding to build her bingo machine around it.
The rest of Pamela’s building process is not shown, but she uses a cooking pot that she finds in the shed (this appears to be the same aromipesä – or ‘aroma nest’ – cooking pot that Aku Hirviniemi had brought in for a prize task in season 2) to hold her bingo balls (which are ping-pong balls with numbers written on them), mounted in the middle of the lazy Susan.
Next to the aromipesä, there is a service bell, which is included just as a bit of flair to announce the next ball draw.
Pamela spins the lazy Susan around to mix the balls, then opens the aromipesä and mixes the balls again with a hand whisk, before finally using the whisk to flick one of the ping-pong balls into a butterfly net which is also mounted on the crowded lazy Susan. Pamela explains this process to Pilvi as she demonstrates it, but confuses herself on the game terminology, and ends up calling her creation a “lottery-bingo-lottery machine”.
Whatever Pamela says during her time playing bingo caller for Pilvi is drowned out by the chatter of the contestants in the studio, all complimenting Pamela’s machine.
Jaakko awards everyone 3 points as a baseline score. He then awards Pamela 2 bonus points for building something that came the closest to what could be called an actual machine.
