Wil plays a ridiculous villain
Wil plays the villain, Master Keith Snake, in Lloyd’s martial arts film.
Since it’s a relatively small part in the film – appearing just at the beginning and end – he decides to go really big with his performance. He wears a blonde wig and speaks very slowly and with a strong, yet ambiguous foreign accent, like an absurd martial arts villain. He puts on such a strange voice that subtitles have to be put up on the screen whenever his character speaks.
When acting, he also always seems to be stroking his hands through his blonde hair.
In the studio, Wil mentions that he’d gone “very method”, and so stayed in character all day.
Tom Gleeson awards Wil 2 points for his character, suggesting that he would be reappearing in Wil’s upcoming sketch show.
