Emma’s QR code

Emma places a printed QR code in Alex’s top-right arm pocket.

She shares that scanning the QR code will give the holder access to two tickets to watch the Bon Jovi tribute band ‘Wrong Jovi’ perform in Basildon on the 19th of October 2024. She also shares that she has personally seen the band perform three times, if you include her wedding.

Alex scans the code with his tablet and confirms that it links to an e-ticket for the gig. When Greg points out that the prize is for whoever wins the episode, Alex notes that there are two tickets, so he could go with them, and he also points out that the tickets are already on his tablet.

Greg decides to award both Emma’s QR code and Babatunde’s keyring 4 points.

[Note: Part of Emma’s actual QR code is concealed, to prevent it actually being scanned by viewers. The full QR code then shown on the screen actually links to a website where there are helium-filled eggs bouncing around the screen, which can be clicked to reveal: the question and answer sheets for the entirety of the pub quiz featured in the ‘Win the pub quiz by cheating’ task, the names of the Australian Rules Football team players which were re-used in the ‘Remember these 10 fine people’ task, and the contents of all 108 of Alex’s pockets in the ‘Pick the Taskmaster’s locket from its pocket’ task.]
